James is from the US; speaks English, French, Italian, German, and Czech.
A long time business developer in the IT, software and hardware industries, James headed up Apple Computer’s Eastern European expansion through its IMC during the 1990’s. During that time, he led software localization activities for Microsoft, QuarkXpress and Apple Computer.
Ksenia is from Khabarovsk, Russia; speaks Russian, English, and intermediate Czech.
Ksenia started working in the Translatus Prague office after graduating from Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law.
Matthew is from Chicago, Illinois; speaks English and basic German.
After studying at Charles University in Prague in 2001, Matthew fell in love with the city and lived in Prague for 3.5 years after moving there in 2002. Matthew also started with Translatus in 2002, and has enjoyed working with Translatus since then, as well as the continued travel and meeting new people that have come along with the job.
Peter is from Allentown, Pennsylvania; speaks English, some Spanish, and very basic Czech.
After graduating from Loyola University Maryland in 2014 with a B.A. in creative writing and Spanish, Peter did writing and editing work for the Baltimore City Paper, communications and marketing work for a cathedral, and waiting work at a restaurant in an art museum, until he moved to Prague to teach English, where he discovered Translatus.
Dimitry is from Sumy, Ukraine; speaks Ukrainian, Russian, Czech and English.
Dimitry has an MS in Electronics Engineering and is the chief developer of TDApro.com. He has over 15 years experience in the Information Technology field and specializes in .NET Platform and Web Development. He also has extensive experience in administration and support of MS Windows and UNIX-based servers.
Sulin is from Lautoka, Fiji; speaks English and Czech.
Sulin studied Computing Science at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. She worked in the Gaming Industry for several years before moving to Prague and joining Translatus in 2009.
Andrew is from Phoenix, Arizona; speaks English and French.
Andrew graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Arizona State University in 2009. Before coming to Translatus, he worked in the US in customer service, sales, and non-profit coordination roles; then in Europe teaching Business English, Technical English, and dance.
Aleksandar is from Belgrade, Serbia; speaks Serbo-Croatian, English, Czech, and basic French.
Aleksandar has graduated as a programmer; however, during his career he has been focusing on working in Adobe applications and became an expert in this field of DTP. Aleksandar also specializes in audio production and video editing.
Alvaro is from Leiria, Portugal; speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
Alvaro received his degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL). He specializes in Graphic Design, logo making, typography and Desktop Publishing. Prior to joining Translatus in 2012, Alvaro worked in Lisbon as a freelance designer of websites and product labels.
Frano is from Kvetnica, Slovakia; speaks Slovak, Spanish, Czech, English and Russian.
Frano has studied computer science and engineering and has a deep interest in fine arts and technology. Currently, he is experimenting with different sales strategies via email and telephone.
Ira is from Athens, Greece; speaks English and Greek, intermediate Japanese and a basic Czech.
Ira graduated in 2012 from Vassar College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and a major in Drama. Ira worked in film and theater production companies in London, before moving on to marketing and advertising for software development companies in Athens. Upon moving to Prague to start her MA in Humanities, Ira worked as a tour guide and an English teacher. She joined the Translatus team in 2015.
